The Early Education Academy is an early education centre offering specifically tailored academic programs for children aged 4-5 years. Since its inception in 2005, the Early Education Academy has been providing students with the highest standard of pre-school education and school preparation programs.
Pre-school Transition Programs are designed to prepare children for kindergarten. The programs offered at the Early Education Academy provide students with the opportunity to participate in learning experiences, enabling them to prepare for this milestone. There is a strong focus on the development of children’s knowledge, skills and abilities. Other areas of focus include general knowledge skills, and include programs such as the Home Reading Program and the News Time Program. All programs are guided by the ‘NSW Early Stage 1 Syllabus’ and the ‘Early Years Curriculum Guidelines NSW’.
Our preparatory programs focus on teaching children concepts such as the alphabet, phonics, numbers, shapes, colours, time, days of the week and seasons of the year. Classes are small, interactive, offer children hands on experience, and cater for children’s individual needs. Interactions with adults and other children support children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development and learning. Our 2 hour sessions per week give students a feel for school without being intimidating. Our class routine involves group time, floor time and independent one-on-one time. Classes are taught in a warm, safe and friendly environment which encourages children to explore, create, play, socialise and learn. Early Education Academy provides an inclusive learning environment that allows children to engage in a variety of learning experiences that promote learning and development.
