Science is
an ever-changing discipline and needs to be monitored
constantly.
Our lessons are reviewed every year so
that they contain the most recent updates or examples from
the scientific community. This allows for a more
comprehensive and up-to-date learning experience for our
students.
We
provide HSC Science classes for:
Biology
Under the
Preliminary Biology course students learn about the
Ecosystem, patterns in nature, life on Earth and the
evolution of Biota.
Under the
HSC Biology course students learn about maintaining a
balance, the Blueprint of Life, the Search for Better Health
and an option of either Communication, Biotechnology,
Genetics, the Human Story and Biochemistry.
Chemistry
Under the
Preliminary Chemistry course students learn about the
Chemical Earth, Metals, Water and Energy.
Under the
HSC Chemistry course students learn about the Production of
Materials, the Acidic Environment, Chemical Monitoring and
Management and an option of either Industrial Chemistry,
Shipwrecks and Salvage, Biochemistry or Forensic
Chemistry.
Physics
Under the
Preliminary Physics course students study the modules of
Moving About, The World Communicates, Electrical Energy in
the Home and The Cosmic Engine.
Under the
HSC Physics course students study the modules of Space,
Motors and Generators, From Ideas to Implementation and an
option of either Geophysics, Medical Physics, From Quanta to
Quarks and the Age of Silicon.

are constructed strictly according to the curriculum. We
make sure every single dot point of the syllabus is covered
in our lessons and help students understand how each tiny
detail fits in to the bigger picture of Science. Practicals
are also incorporated into our classes when possible to
demonstrate the aspect of nature leading into applied
practice.
